TROYES

Although they lost 1-0, Troyes made a decent game last week away at Toulouse, especially in comparison to previous rounds when they used to make a defensive mistake per minute.

This is the last game for Troyes in Ligue1, and they will surely want to make the most of it, especially considering the reputed opponents.

They won only 1 game on home ground this season (after they already relegated), and their fans really deserve better than this.

Troyes weren’t as bad as results suggests, but the defensive mistakes, the lack of inspiration upfront and the thin squad, all these led to a disastrous season.

MARSEILLE

This has been a shameful season for Marseille, a season they surely want to forget as soon as possible. Marseille woke up only after coach Michel got fired, but still had major difficulties in creating chances and converting them.

In-spite having one of the most impressive squads in the tournament (on paper), with extremely talented players in all areas of the field, Marseille had relegation woes until the final rounds. The lack of chemistry in the attacking phase, the impatience in midfield and the superficiality in defense, were the reasons for such a poor season.

At the moment they seem to be in good form (in comparison to the entire season), but they are still miles away from achieving full potential.

The overall strength will diminish this round, as they will miss forward Batshuayi and fullback Mendy, both of them suspended.

BETTING

Odds on Marseille are a joke considering how they have been performing and the important absences. Most probably Troyes will be very determined and will make extra efforts for the final game in Ligue1. Troyes +0.75 at 2.12
