Toulouse made a nice surprise last round away at Nice, even if opponents imposed the rhythm. Toulouse were very confident in defense, and although they didn’t create too many scoring opportunities, they still managed to win all points (finished 1-0).
The victory is even more impressive as Toulouse missed a few important players (defenders Diop and Jullien, midfielder Somalia and forward Delort).
They are now sitting on two consecutive victories and managed to escape the red zone. Confidence increased lately, but it remains to be seen how they will perform after the game against PSG.
PSG are playing midweek games ever since the season resumed, but are successfully coping with the situation, even if coach Emery didn’t make too many changes.
Next week they will play a crucial game in Champions League away at Real, so there are pretty good chances that PSG won’t be so pushy this round.
Toulouse will miss defender Jullien and midfielder Sangare, but welcome back defender Diop and forward Delort. PSG will have to do without defender Kurzawa, midfielder Motta and forward Cavani.
Toulouse improved lately and this looks like the perfect moment to play against PSG. Guests have a comfortable lead in Ligue1, and nobody will blame them in case they take this game lightly. Toulouse +2 at 2.01
