TOULOUSE ANGERS PREVIEW BY LGF

It must be very frustrating to be a Toulouse fan this season. No matter how good they perform, how much possession they keep and how much they push the game forward Toulouse are simply unable to take all points.
Last round away at Gazelec Ajaccio it happened again and in-spite dominating and creating the best of chances Toulouse only got a draw (finished 2-2).
The biggest problem is by far the defensive softness as Toulouse simply can’t keep up with opponents no matter their ranking. Toulouse conceded in all games so far, and judging by their performances instead of improving things are getting worse… They can’t properly defend at set pieces or counters and it’s a miracle they conceded only 15 goals so far.
Toulouse will welcome back attacking midfielder Trejo but unfortunately that won’t improve at all the defensive strength. On the other hand they will miss midfielder Akpa – Akpro (who is very active in the defensive phase) and defender Spajic (both of them suspended)
Angers were a bit unlucky not to score more goals last round against Bastia (won 1-0). It was mostly a one sided encounter with Angers in charge from the first whistle.
Forward Ketkeophomphone (once you say his name you can’t stop repeating it) is in excellent form and successfully took over Sunu’s tasks (forward Sunu is injured at the moment). Ketkeophomphone scored the winning goal, won a penalty, made a couple of key passes and was by far Angers’ most active player.
When forward Sunu will return from injury (may happen this week) Angers will have a fierce attacking phase with Ketkeophomphone and Sunu.
In defense Angers are very organized and midfielders are always there to cover in case defenders get outplayed.
Angers will miss suspended central midfielder Saiss.
Bookies just don’t get it, no matter how good Toulouse perform they simply can’t win. Angers have excellent chances of getting something from this game, especially given Toulouse’s fragile defense. Angers +0.5 at 1.89
UPDATE: Toulouse welcome back defenders Matheus and Ninkov. Angers’ key forward Sunu is finally back after injury.
