Last round Strasbourg conceded very early and didn’t have the power to get back in the game. They were in a permanent rush and couldn’t even create a decent opportunity (lost 2-0 against Bordeaux).
In Ligue1 they are sitting on two consecutive defeats, but at least they managed to qualify to the next stage of Coupe de France, after defeating 3rd division side Grenoble this week (finished 3-0).
Strasbourg use a 4-3-3 system, but all midfielders are attacking minded and don’t hesitate to advance. That is why Strasbourg are yet to keep a clean sheet this year in Ligue1.
With only a few exceptions, Troyes used the best possible lineup in the midweek Coupe de France game away at Ligue2 side Lens, but were still eliminated from the competition (lost 1-0).
Away from home Troyes are really disappointing and have failed to pick up any points in Ligue1 since November last year.
Strasbourg welcome back midfielders Lienard and Goncalves, while Troyes will miss winger Darbion and forward Suk.
I don’t think Troyes deserve such odds. They may be very shy in away game, but Strasbourg seem to be conceding goals from all positions.
