It was a boring game between Strasbourg and Caen last round. Strasbourg held more possession, but couldn’t create too many scoring opportunities (finished 0-0).
On the bright side, they managed to keep a clean sheet, only their second this season. They weren’t very organized, but opponents focused mostly on the defensive phase and lacked efficiency on counters.
PSG didn’t push that hard last round against Troyes, but still easily won all points (finished 2-0). Attacking players seemed extremely superficial, and that is why both goals were scored in the final 20 minutes.
These kinds of periods often occur at PSG, mostly when tiredness accumulates or they lack motivation.
In comparison to last round Strasbourg will miss midfielder Goncalves, while PSG will miss defender Silva.
Strasbourg’s defense is really loose, and in normal conditions PSG could destroy them, but I don’t think now PSG are worth a bet, not with the midweek round and another game after a few days, away in Germany at Bayern.
