Strasbourg are doing pretty good lately and last round they managed to win the second game this season (2-1 away at Nice). They even played in numerical inferiority for about an entire half, but still had enough power to resist.
This week they eliminated St Etienne from Coupe de la Ligue after penalties. It was an exhausting encounter, but they used mostly reserves and managed to preserve strength. Form and confidence are at excellent levels at Strasbourg.
The game between Angers and Toulouse last week was pretty balanced, but Toulouse were smarter and won all points in the end (finished 1-0).
Angers created plenty of scoring opportunities, but this time attacking players weren’t inspired enough to find the net. They made amends in the Coupe de la Ligue midweek game after winning 3-2 against Nancy. It was a difficult encounter and Angers found the winner in the final seconds. In their defense, it must be said that Angers used mostly reserves.
Hosts will be without defender Foulquier, while guests will miss forward Capelle, but welcome back forward Guillaume.
With Toko Ekambi and Crivelli upfront guests can be very dangerous, especially if opponents will rush upfront, in the attempt to continue the good run. Open game and at least 3 goals. Over 2.5 goals at 2.14
