[pullquote]Brest will find it impossible to strike on counters, especially since PSG don’t go forward in numbers and Brest’s script writer, winger Lesoimier, is out injured. 1.60 for away win can be used with confidence in accumulators. [/pullquote]After Brest got us used with soft displays away from home, they got stronger on the road but diminished their powerful game on home soil. They made big efforts these last rounds and this may have a say in the way they perform. Brest is a small team, without too much options for rotating and giving rest. Everyone must be impatiently awaiting for the winter break and nobody would condemn them after a failure against PSG, even if at home. Another set back is the injury of winger Lesoimier. He’s their most in form man, and most of the assists for striker Ben Basat came from Lesoimier. His absence severely weakens their offensive potential, so we will most probably see a home side focused mainly on defending.
PSG got away with 3 points following the derby with Lyon. Although their play wasn’t so convincing (especially upfront) they confirmed the good run and the end of the mini crisis that even Ancelotti talked about. For sure they will want to finish this first part of the season in the 1st place and they have the means to achieve that. The atmosphere is great, every player is available and in form and their opponent is no more than mediocre. Especially in the first half they may find it hard to open a Brest side concentrated with many players in the defense. But in the 2nd half tiredness will have a say and they will be able to fulfill their objective.
