[pullquote]Only by a miracle will Ajaccio keep all the points home. But even if we are approaching Christmas time, we are no longer kids to believe in miracles… Draw no bet for Rennes at 2.00 looks great.[/pullquote]Ajaccio are in real trouble. They just sacked coach Dupont. The reason for that is a childish explanation given by the president. They couldn’t have expected better results judging by their team value, so the only possible reason is an internal conflict, most probably with always dissatisfied forward Mutu. Hosts aren’t producing anything, but on top of that their defense and organization are also suffering. they make much more mistakes than usual now, and even keeper Ochoa is a bit cloud headed nowadays. Defensive midfielder faty is suspended (he’s also injured) and he will be a big miss, as together with Mostefa in the middle he used to stop many dangerous actions from opponents. Forward Eduardo is doubtful. The internal problems should be resolved during the winter break, maybe with the help of new characters (new transfers) in the dressing room, but until then Ajaccio have little chances for this game.
Rennes are doing great as of late. They are producing some nice football mainly through their offensive midfielders, Feret, Pitroipa and Alesandrinni. Pitroipa is also their most dangerous, this guy could dribble his way out of a filled with opponents phone boot… His lungs are made of iron, as in the 80th minute he could easily run 5 stadium lengths… Central defender Kana-Biyik will be back from suspension, and the usual couple with Apam will be reignited again. Defensive midfielder makoun is still injured, but M’Vila and Pajot made a good couple last round. Also seeing how Ajaccio can’t pose any threat nowadays, Rennes should be safe they way thy look now.
