RENNES LYON BETTING PREVIEW BY LGF

RENNES

Rennes made an excellent game last week against Nantes. Opponents held more possession and continuously tried to create pressure, but Rennes were extremely efficient and took advantage of every single mistake Nantes made (won 4-1).

Young forward Dembele scored his first Ligue1 hat-trick after a convincing performance. He is considered France’s next big player and is already a target for big European clubs.

Rennes will miss winger Ntep for the rest of the season, but that won’t be a problem with young talents like Dembele and Boga in the lineup.

Unfortunately Rennes keep on conceding goals, and that is a major impediment in their pursuit of a place in Europe for next season.

Hosts will miss forward Sio who is suspended.

LYON

Lyon are missing midfielders Valbuena and Tolisso for two rounds already, but they are still creating numerous chances each game and scoring plenty of goals.

In-fact striker Lacazette seems to be feeling more comfortable in the new formula, as he is now the center of attention and receives more balls.

Lyon have the same strategy, no matter if home or away, no matter if against Troyes or PSG, no matter the importance of the game. They are offensive minded in every game and never hesitate to open up and apply pressure.

Forward Fekir resumed light training after a long injury, but it will take some until we see him in the lineup.

BETTING

This is a very important game for both sides, but that won’t make Lyon change attitude. Both sides are in excellent offensive form and this promises to be a very entertaining encounter. OVER 2.5 goals at 2.15

UPDATE: Rennes will have to do without fullback M’Bengue who is injured. Lyon will miss defender Yanga-Mbiwa but welcome back midfielder Tolisso.
