PSG MONACO PREVIEW BY LGF

PSG

Last round PSG were crowned Ligue1 Champions after they destroyed Troyes 9-0. All players performed at Champions League standards, but Ibrahimovic was the man of the match with 4 goals scored.

So far this is a perfect season for the Parisians. They already won the title in France, they are favorites for winning both Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue, and they also qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals.

Not sure how much motivated PSG will be, but in theory Monaco were considered title rivals, and a convincing win against them will surely contribute to PSG’s perfect season.

Also, there are no reasons to rotate now, since the schedule is light and there will be a week off after this game.

MONACO

Monaco should be happy for having a 5 points lead over 3rd placed Nice. Nowadays they are leaking goals from all positions (conceded 4 goals in the last 2 rounds), and in the offensive phase they rely primarily on individual talent instead of collective play.

The schedule for Monaco is really difficult (games against PSG, Marseille, Lille, Rennes, Lyon), and there is no guarantee they will win the direct qualification in Champions League at the end of the season (2nd place in Ligue1 assures direct qualification in Champions League).

Monaco are in for some hard times away at PSG, especially since they will miss play maker Bernardo Silva who is suspended. Forward Dirar will also miss through suspension.

When PSG are in top form and can fully focus on the upcoming fixture, no Ligue1 opponent stands a chance. PSG -1.5 at 2.00
