PSG surprisingly lost the game away at Strabsourg last week. Of course they dominated and created more opportunities, but weren’t efficient at all when trying to apply the finishing touch (Strasbourg 2-1).
It was their first defeat this season, and it was followed by another disappointing performance away at Bayren Munchen. They lost 3-1 in Germany, after a game in which opponents imposed the rhythm.
PSG are going through a bad moment, in-spite being undisputed leaders in Ligue 1, and winning the group in Champions League.
Lille finally found some form after 2 consecutive victories. Performances in those games weren’t exactly impressive, but in the end it’s the final result that matters.
In comparison to previous rounds, there is a clear improvement in the defensive phase. They are more combative now and the support from midfielders intensified.
PSG will miss defenders Kurzawa, Silva and forward Neymar, while Lille will be without defender Touse.
There is no doubt that PSG will control this game, but in poor attacking form and without Neymar, it will be difficult to score so many goals against Lille, whose confidence increased lately. Lille +2.5 at 2.14
