Nice Marseille Betting Preview By LGF

For a couple of rounds already Nice have reduced rythm and started losing form. If that wasn’t enough, Nice also lost best player Ben Arfa who suffered an injury and will sit out for about one month.

Even without Ben Arfa, Nice still have a decent squad with plenty of talent in all areas of the field.

They can be very solid in defense with experienced Baysse and Le Marchand in the center, and also pretty dangerous upfront with agile Koziello on the flank and pragmatic Germain in the striker position.

They only need to get back the confidence and exuberance they seem to have lost about a month ago.

Marseille made a good game last week against PSG, but unfortunately didn’t had enough resources to resist and get a draw (lost 2-1).

Marseille sit exactly in the middle of the table, but things should improve in the near future, especially since winger Alessandrini recently returned from injury, and they also transferred-in experienced forward Fletcher from Sunderland.

Marseille’s squad is full of big names and it is clear they are underperforming at the moment. Something is not clicking, but once coach Michel will identify the problem and will solve it, a series of comfortable victories should follow.

Marseille had an easy Cup game away at minnows Trelissac and won comfrotably 2-0. Dja Djedje, Diarra, Cabella and Nkoulou should return to the lineup after missing the cup game (they were rested).

It is true Marseille have the upper hand here, but Nice are no mugs, and even with Ben Arfa injured, they deserve more respect from the bookies. It can be an interesting game to watch, and maybe good live betting material (goals), especially if Marseille will get desperate in second half.

UPDATE: No surprises in the squads

Nice: Hassen, Cardinale – Baysse, Genevois, Le Marchand, Pied, R.Pereira, Correia, Bodmer – Seri, Hult, Walter, Dada, N.Mendy, Koziello – A.Mendy, Germain, Caddy, Plea
