Nice are sitting on 3 consecutive defeats and unfortunately for them there are no signs of improvement in the immediate future.
Central defender Bodmer is still out injured, same as fullback Palun and midfielder Digard. Coach Puel will have to do some heavy improvising in defense seeing that his son Puel and central defender Diawara will miss through suspension. Nice weren’t that solid in defense recently and now with all those absences it’s going to be a nightmarish round.
In the offensive phase it seems that nowadays midfielder Hult is the only one able to create something from open play. The rest of teammates are continuously looking for opportunities to win set pieces.
Hosts will also miss winger Eysseric due to suspension.
Guingamp are going through a difficult moment as they recorded 3 straight defeats in Ligue1 and were eliminated from Europa League. They started 2015 with the right foot and now their confidence is shaken because of the negative results.
But there is no time to sit and mourn as things are pretty tight in the lower half of the table and Guingamp can easily find themselves threaten by relegation. They need to get back on the right track as soon as possible and they definitely have the necessary weapons to do it.
Forwards Beauvue and Mandanne can have a blast with Nice’s improvised defense, especially if Nice will be the ones trying to impose the rythm and push the game forward. Guingamp should be able to find the net on counters at least once. Guingamp +0.25 at 1.88
UPDATE: Nice are in luck as they welcome back defender Bodmer and midfielder Digard. Guingamp will miss defender Angoua through suspension. Same bet
