Nantes fought hard last week away at Montpellier, and their efforts were rewarded in the end (won 3-2). It was the third consecutive away game for Nantes, and they will surely be very enthusiastic to play again on home ground.
Lately Nantes are very efficient in the attacking phase, and most players are bursting with confidence. Opponents are often caught by surprise, as attacking players are scoring goals without holding prolonged possession.
The problem is they are also conceding too many goals, and players involved in the defensive phase seem more hesitant as round goes by.
Hosts will miss wingers Pardo and Bammou (both suspended), but this is no reason to worry.
Nice got only a draw last week against Caen, but the good news is that they were forced to change attitude (finished 2-2).
Caen were pretty pushy and opened the score in the first half, forcing Nice to be more offensive minded. Nice were very aggressive, just like in the first part of the season, as opposed to previous rounds, when they were cautious and preferred to sit back and wait for the perfect moment to strike.
Midfielder Cyprien suffered an injury, and it seems the season is over for him. He is an important player, but Nice have other valuable options.
The price on goals is unbelievable, considering how these teams have performed lately. OVER 2.25 at 2.23
