Nantes made a good game last round away at St Etienne, they created more scoring opportunities, but had to settle with a draw in the end (finished 1-1).
Nantes now fully recovered after the two consecutive defeats away at PSG and Rennes. They are highly organized, as midfielders do their best to participate in the defensive phase.
The only problem seems to be in the attacking department, as they aren’t very efficient, and at times even seem clueless in-front of goal.
Nice lost the midweek Europa League game away at Vitesse (finished 1-0), but still managed to qualify to the next stage. Since they were already qualified coach Favre used a mixed squad, so the emphasis is clearly on the remaining Ligue 1 games.
It may seem that Nice picked up some rhythm lately, but they are still very vulnerable in defense and keep on conceding goals.
Nice will miss defenders Dante and Jallet.
Nice are no amateurs. A DNB option on Nantes would have been interesting, but odds are way too low for that. I don’t see any early goals here, so maybe live betting could offer better options.
