NANTES LORIENT PREVIEW BY LGF

NANTES

Nantes was the better side last week away at Toulouse, but they were denied the winner by a 17 years old keeper who was in excellent form.

This is a good moment for Nantes who are yet to be defeated in 2016, and are getting closer to the positions that will assure a place in European competitions.

Especially in the attacking phase there is a clear improvement in comparison to the first part of the season. The chemistry is at good levels, and players are confident and they enjoy every minute on the field.

Scoring four goals in the Cup game away at Bordeaux is proof of their offensive improvement (Nantes won 4-3)

LORIENT

Lorient had to play in 10 for an entire half last round, and in these conditions they were lucky to get away with a draw, considering that opponents controlled most of the game (finished 1-1).

In the last two rounds Lorient couldn’t perform as they usually do. First they had to play against PSG and adopted a defensive strategy, and then there was the red card last round.

Hopefully things will go back to normal this round and Lorient will show everyone what they are truly capable of.

They have one of the best attacks in the tournament, with Waris and Moukandjo upfront and Jouffre on the right flank. On the left side there is newly arrived Cabot, who is also in good form and already adapted (scored last round).

At the moment there is a conflict between striker Waris and coach Ripoll. Waris was left outside the squad for the midweek Cup game, but hopefully everyone will come to their senses and Lorient will be able to use the best team possible against Nantes.

BETTING

Both sides have impressive attacking power and aren’t exactly solid in defense. This game can easily turn into a goal fest, and the price for that is truly valuable. OVER 2 GOALS at 1.91

UPDATE: Lorient will miss forward Waris and winger Jouffre. Same bet
