LYON NANTES PREVIEW BY LGF

LYON

Disappointing result from Lyon last week away at Rennes. They dominated most of the game and had a comfortable advantage with 20 minutes to go. Unfortunately the offensive approach once dragged them back and Lyon ended up losing two valuable points (finished 2-2).

Lyon never change strategy, regardless the stake of the game, the opponent or the current scoreline, and the result last round is proof of that.

Forwards Lacazette, Ghezzal and Cornet are in excellent form, and are actually performing better since Valbuena is injured. They are more active now, more creative and more determined.

Hosts will miss midfielder Grenier due to suspension.

NANTES

Nantes had an easy game last week against Angers, a game they won without much emotions (finished 2-0). Argentinian forward Sala scored his first double this season and another impressive performance should be expected.

Nantes usually embrace the rythm imposed by opponents without hesitation. If opponents are defensive minded, Nantes sit back, move the ball around in midfield and wait for a vital mistake. But if opponents are aggressive, Nantes quickly adopt the same strategy and the game can easily turn into a goal fest.

Guests will have to do without central defender Djidji who is injured, while winger Adryen is doubtful. Central defender Cana will most probably miss once again because of injury.

BETTING

Lyon should be very determined from the first whistle, especially after the disappointing result last week. Nantes always accept the challenge, and this round shouldn’t be any different, especially given forward’s Sala good form. OVER 2.5 GOALS at 2.15
