GUINGAMP

Guingamp could’ve and should’ve done better last round against Montpellier. They took the lead early in the game, but once again the poor defensive display deprived them of the 3 points.

Forwards Briand and Privat haven’t scored, but they were very active and a constant threat for opponents. Key defender Sorbon found the net, but unfortunately from a defensive point a view he had a really disappointing performance, along with most defensive players.

Mathematically Guingamgp can still relegate, but that will never happen as long as they don’t use the youth squad in all remaining games…

PSG

Nobody will blame PSG if they will change the entire lineup for this game, on the contrary, coach Blanc will surely be under heavy fire if important players won’t be rested.

At the moment PSG are fully focused on the Champions League encounters against Manchester City, and there is no motivation for the game against Guingamp. The first clash with Manchester City ended in a disappointing and dangerous result for PSG (2-2 draw), and it’s obvious they should preserve energy for the return leg next week.

Fringe players like Augustin, Ongenda, Nkunku, Kimpembe should be in the lineup and try to make the most of this opportunity.

BETTING

This is a good chance for Guingamp to get a positive result against French Champions. Unfortunately there are always huge spaces in Guingamp’s defensive phase, and there is no need for Ibrahimovic for PSG to score at least once. OVER 2.5 GOALS at 2.08
