Gazelec Ajaccio didn’t stood a chance last week away at Caen and in the end they were lucky to concede only twice, seeing the game had only one direction (Caen won 2-0).
On home ground Ajaccio are a bit more daring and even managed to create some problems for Monaco a couple of rounds ago. They are still without a win in Ligue1 and most probably we will see the same courageous attitude this round.
Ajaccio will have to do without central midfielder Le Moigne and defender Martinez, both of the suspended.
Toulouse were pretty unlucky last week when they constantly pushed the game forward but couldn’t find the net and ended up easily conceding 3 goals (lost 3-0 away at Bastia).
For a couple of rounds already Toulouse are producing performances but unfortunately they are yet to register positive results.
Forward’s Ben Yedder poor form has a negative impact on the attacking phase and Toulouse fail miserably when it comes to applying the finishing touch. Danish forward Braithwaite also goes form one extreme to the other and scores from impossible positions in one game and misses alone with the keeper the next round.
Toulouse will once again miss attacking midfielder Trejo who is pretty important for the offensive phase. On the other hand they will welcome back defenders Yago and Moubandje who should go straight into the lineup.
Both sides will be very determined to end the bad run, and from this point of view this will be a very disputed encounter. Toulouse are definitely more valuable, but even when they have good performances Toulouse fail to take all points…
UPDATE: Toulouse welcome back defensive players Moubandje, Yago and Siriex
