Gazelec Ajaccio were surprisingly courageous last week away at Bordeaux. They managed to stop opponents actions from incipient stages, and also were pretty dangerous on counters (finished 1-1).
It’s been a while since Gazelec Ajaccio won a game on home ground (December last year). They have a small stadium usually packed with fanatic fans, who surely lost patience by now. Players were booed last time on home ground (lost 3-2 against Troyes) and now it’s the prefect opportunity to ask for forgiveness.
Gazelec Ajaccio have everything to fight for (still involved in the fight to avoid relegation), so determination won’t be a problem.
Hosts will once again miss defender Filippi who is suspended.
Marseille simply refuse to get back on the right track. They haven’t won in Ligue1 for 5 rounds already, and most probably nobody at the club believes they can save this season.
All midfielders try to impose their own style and ideas and don’t focus on collaborating with teammates. Forwards miss way too many chances, and defenders can easily be caught on the wrong foot.
Only by a miracle Marseille will improve overnight and will start a series of positive results that will assure a presence in Europe next season.
The price on Gazelec Ajaccio is really valuable considering their determination, the lively fans and the out of form opponent. GAZELEC AJACCIO +0.25 at 2.09
