It was a weird game between Bordeaux and Caen last round. Caen had two big opportunities right after the first whistle, missed both of them, and Bordeaux managed to score against the run of play, twice. Opponents collapsed, and from there on it was only a formality for Bordeaux (won 4-0).
Although they are not exactly impressive in performances, Bordeaux are doing pretty good lately. They won up 7 points in the last 3 rounds, and also qualified for the next stage of Coupe de France.
Hosts are in good form, confidence is running his, and most probably they will be extra motivated against champions PSG.
Hosts will once again miss defender Lewczuk.
PSG fully controlled the game against Lille last round, but they still struggled to take all points. The final 5 minutes were dramatic and PSG found the winner only in added time (won 2-1).
PSG weren’t so inventive lately, especially after midfielder Verratti got injured. Verratti’s long passes often made the difference in the past, and they used to create more scoring opportunities. The good news is that Verratti is back in the squad now, same as keeper Trapp and fullback Meunier.
Early next week PSG will have an important Champions League game against Barcelona. Most probably that is their priority, regardless the official statements. There may be a few changes to the lineup, but in the end all PSG’s players are highly skilled.
If someone is holding a gun to your head forcing you to place bet, then go for Bordeaux +1, otherwise just skip it.
