Bordeaux are looking really good as of late, unfortunately besides finishing in the upper half of the table, they can’t achieve anything else.
They are sitting on two consecutive victories, after convincing performances especially in the attacking department. Key forward Diabate scored in the last two games, and it seems he finally achieved full potential. He was injured for a long period in the first part of the season, and his absence had a huge impact on Bordeaux’s offensive play.
In defense there is a small improvement since Pallois returned from injury, but they are still hesitant, and errors increase in numbers in second half, when players get tired and aren’t so agile anymore.
Another convincing win by PSG last round away at Gazelec Ajaccio (won 4-0). PSG don’t have any motivation in Ligue1 games, but they aren’t disappointing their fans, and seem to enjoy playing football when there is no pressure.
Lately PSG are slow starters and don’t push that hard in the first half. In the last two rounds they scored a total of 8 goals, 7 of which came in second half. In the first part of the game they move the ball around without trying to create tunnels, and in the second half they are more incisive and determined.
With Bordeaux in good offensive form, they have a decent chance of scoring against PSG. If they will manage to find the net, the goal most probably will be scored in the first half, when PSG are a bit lazy. Overall PSG are definitely more powerful, and can easily make a comeback in the second part of the game, when Bordeaux will get tired. Bordeaux Half Time / PSG Full Time at 23.00
