ANGERS

Angers made a good game last round against Monaco, and were really unlucky to suffer their first home defeat in 2017 (lost 1-0). Especially in the first half, Angers controlled the game and created many scoring opportunities.

Angers created most of the actions on the left flank, thanks to fullback Capelle and winger Toko Ekambi who were extremely active. Fullback Cissokho was suspended, so coach Moulin improvised and converted forward Capelle to the fullback position. Angers were bursting with energy on the left wing, and it will be interesting to see if they will use the same formula, since fullback Cissokho is still suspended.

Hosts will once again miss defender Martinez due to injury.

PSG

As expected, PSG fully dominated last week against Guingamp. But in-spite the constant pressure, PSG struggled to create tunnels and get inside Guinagmp’s penalty box. Especially in the first half PSG looked uninspired, and only after the break they managed to make the difference mostly because eof individual talent (PSG won 4-0 after opponents got lazy and apathetic).

Although the remaining opponents are somewhat accessible, it will be difficult for PSG to win the title, given that Monaco are playing very efficient football (PSG are 3 points behind).

Individual talent plays a huge role in PSG’s strategy, and they can easily lose points when up against highly motivated and organized sides.

Guests will miss defenders Thiago Silva and Kurzawa, midfielder Krychowiak, and forwards Ben Arfa and Draxler.
