This encounter should be very interesting since both teams are making big efforts to get the title of the worst Ligue1 team.
But if for Ajaccio things are looking a bit brighter, Valenciennes with their new coach have a big dark cloud over their heads.
Ajaccio will be boosted by several comebacks: Pierazzi, Mostefa, Diarra, Mutu and Tallo. Both the defensive and the offensive phase will receive a major boost. Also striker Oliech (made his comeback last week) is slowly picking up rhythm after being injured for many rounds and to be honest I see hims scoring pretty soon.
If Ajaccio are slowly putting all the pieces back together, Valenciennes are getting more confused with each round. They were given a football lesson by Troyes (Ligue2) in the Cup.
With new coach Jacobs players simply don’t understand what’s their role anymore. In an attempt to improve the offense coach Jacobs destabilized the defense. This may be a conspiracy (joke) since Jacobs is from Flanders (the Dutch speaking part of Belgium) and the language divide with Wallonia (French speaking part of Belgium) is tearing Belgium apart. So Jacobs wants to get his revenge on the French and he started to destroy Valenciennes.
For Ajaccio defender Zubar fulfilled his suspension in the Cup game while for Valenciennes defender Rose is still injured.
Valenciennes could be in control of this game, but their shy offensive attempts will easily be rejected by Ajaccio. Seeing that Valenciennes are more prone to defensive errors under Jacobs, Ajaccio could exploit that, especially with Oliech picking up form.
Ajaccio DNB at the odds of 1.76 is safe and can be profitable.
