Young attacking midfielder Thomasson was formed at Evian and recently transferred-out at Nantes for an undisclosed fee (according to rumors it was somewhere around 800.000 EUR)
He was a regular at Evian this season (mostly after the winter break) and managed to score 2 goals and delivered 5 assist (Evian’s best passer). He successfully fulfilled the tasks of experienced Wass, who at that time was a key player for Evian.
Although only 21 Thomasson has the vision and ball control of an experienced play-maker. Finishing skills are also impressive and so Thomasson often tries his luck from long range. Intuition and speed are at high levels and allow Thomasson to infiltrate inside the penalty box and take opponents by surprise.
At Nantes he will partner talented Veretout in central midfield (22 years old) and the future looks really bright with both of them in the lineup.
Too bad there is no way to bet on Thomasson’s market value to skyrocket in the following season…
